Subscriptions & billing

How do I manage or cancel Level Pro?

Level Pro is billed by Apple, so it's managed in your Apple ID, not inside the app. Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device (or the App Store app), choose Level, and you can change plan or cancel there. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for.

How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with and your subscription restores automatically. Just open the Pro screen in the app, and it recognizes that you already subscribed.

How do I get a refund?

Because Apple handles payment, refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong on our end, email us first and we'll help.

Your account & data

How do I delete my data?

In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. This erases your on-device learning data and signs you out. To also delete the account record we hold in our infrastructure (your Apple identifier and any name or email you shared), email support@level.study and we'll remove it.

What data does Level collect?

Short answer: as little as possible. The full breakdown, including how your practice text and audio are processed and how quickly audio is deleted, is in our Privacy Policy.

I signed in with Apple but didn't share my email. Can you still reach me?

If you chose Apple's private relay email, replies from us still reach your inbox through Apple's relay. You can manage this in Settings → [your name] → Sign in with Apple.

Using the app

Microphone or speech recognition isn't working.

Speaking and listening exercises need microphone and speech-recognition permission. Check Settings → Level on your device and make sure both are enabled. You can revoke them there any time.

What languages does Level support?

Level teaches several languages and supports several native languages for instruction. The current list is shown in the app when you set up a course.

Why is my practice "metered"?

The free experience uses an energy meter so the AI behind your lessons stays sustainable. Level Pro removes the meter for unlimited practice. See Terms of Use for how the subscription works.
